This Side table in Burr-wallnut has the appearance of an English sidetable, but its heavy proportions and rigid curves tell us its Dutch origin.

Dutch furniture was heavily influenced by the English cabinetmakers. Rectangular tabletop above a drawer and a small drawer in the moulded apron. Stands on cabriole legs and padded feet.
