Polychrome Delft Terrines

The octagonal body of these Delftware tureens is painted on the front with the same decoration as on the lid. It depicts an oriental woman in a riverside landscape wearing a conical hat and holding a bucket. There is also a man in a boat, and buildings at the background. The reverse has a floral decoration. The sides are molded with two pierced bracket-shaped handles.

The covers have bracket-shaped borders and are mounted with a modeled bunch of grapes with three leaves.
