This Delftware teabox is decorated on the sides with an orienatal landscape with a pagode and shrubbery.

Teadrinking was a very loved an sohistiacated ceremony amongst the wealthy women in the 18th century. Luxious and pretty objects as this teabox were of high importance to show one´s wealth.
