LAQUER CABINET

A fine 17th century 'pictural style' black japanned cabinet decorated throughout with chinoiseries in shades of gold, raised in some areas, on a black ground with red aventurine borders. The door fronts depicting a cockerell amongst shrubbery and a blossoming tree. No stand.
