Polychrome Delft Cows
Both their neck and back garlanded with flowers and standing on a rectangular base moulded with frogs. Ex-collection Etienne de Launoy in Amsterdam.
The Guild of the Butchers used to decorate their best caddle for festivities en lead them in a procession through the town. They were so proud of their caddle that they would hang portraits of their best breeding bull in the town hall. Some of famous portraits of this kind were made by Potter.
