Richard Burnier (Den Hague 6 of August 1825 - Dusseldorf 17 of March 1884).
Studied from 1845 to 1848 at the Akademie van Beeldende Kunsten at Den Hague where he was a student of Andreas Achenbach, Johann Wilhelm Schirmer and Constant Troyon. Later he turned out to be the educator of the better-known romantic landscape paintress Wally Moes.
