This armchair from the third quarter of the seventeenth century features the high, slightly angled back characteristic of the period. The elegantly high armrests are organically decorated with carvings of acanthus leaves and flowers. The legs, cross front and struts for the armrests have turned work.
The front legs are additionally fitted with square-framed flowers and on `shoes´ of acanthus.
