The guéridon table was influenced by the tripods found by the numerous excavations or were copied from models as seen on Etruscan vases.

  • This Empire centre table has a circular tabletop with black marble top and plain frieze which is raised on four plain round columns
  • These columns are secured with gilt - bronze mounts that resemble a capital and basement of a classical antique column
