A Blue and White Tobacco Jar in Dutch Delftware « AMSTERDAMER »

The ovoid body inscribed on the front with « AMSTERDAMER » within a cartouche formed by a flower filled vase with foliate scrolls, leafs and lines. With a later brass cover.
Mark in blue: « W: VB », for Willem Van Beck, owner of the factory « De twee Wildemannen » in 1760.
