The setting is patterned after the Eastern Wanli porcelain decorated in Kraak style . The center surface is upholstered with a deer amidst exuberantly flowering shrubs and a descending bird. The compartments on the rim are alternately filled with a flower, artemis leaf and the scribal scroll. Each time there is a narrow compartment with a bow motif in between.

  • The decoration is made after examples in the Chinese Wan Li style
