With a yellow head and breast with Iron-red- delineated plumage, a green back and blue crest. Perched on a `perforated rock´.
Models of birds of this kind were produced in quite large numbers by Chinese potters during the Kangxi-period. These bird found great appreciation among the Delft potters, who began to imitate them.
